Who should attend?
This chemical management course provides individuals and organizations with appropriate training to take full control of their chemical management processes.
Course content:

Students are recognized as completing a nationally accredited training course in chemicals management. They will have greater knowledge of the chemicals management process and training to efficiently complete hazard and risk assessments for their organizations.

They will have an understanding of the risks associated with chemicals and have the ability to define workplace control measures to protect employees.

This course consists of four modules of competence, contextualized within a chemicals management framework. Once all modules are completed, a collection statement will be issued. Learners have four months to complete the course from the date of their registration.
The units of competence are as follows:

BSBWHS431 - Develop processes and procedures for controlling hazardous chemicals in the workplace

BSBWHS531 - Implementation and Evaluation of a Business System for the Management of Hazardous Chemicals

BSBWHS308 - Participate in WHS risk identification, risk assessment and control.
